On a quiet morning boat tour across Cheow Lan Lake, we met a family of dusky langurs in the canopy — a calm grey mama, and beside her, a glowing orange baby that looked almost unreal in the soft sunrise.
It is one of nature’s quietest secrets: dusky langur infants are born a brilliant orange, then slowly turn dark grey by six months old. The orange is camouflage, a signal, a tiny sun in the green forest — and then it fades, gently, into the watchful dark.
We made Sokling so that this moment — the one most travelers miss — could travel home with you. A handcrafted plush that holds a real wildlife fact, a real forest, and a small piece of the story you only see if you look up at the right tree at the right hour.
“Born like a Mochi — bright, small, full of sunlight.”
“Grows into Lumi — calm, watchful, the keeper of the forest light.”
“Every Sokling is a journey from Mochi to Lumi.”
